EPOS HIV/AIDS Policy

 

We acknowledge the seriousness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and our responsibility

GOPA/EPOS have developed a concept for comprehensive, proactive HIV/AIDS workplace programmes, and commit themselves to providing leadership in implementing such programmes, acknowledging the seriousness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and our responsibility towards our employees in Germany and abroad.

The objectives of these HIV/AIDS workplace programmes are to ensure an effective prevention of HIV/AIDS among employees and their families, and the comprehensive management of the needs of HIV-positive employees and employees living with AIDS.

GOPA/EPOS and their partner NGO “!IMPACT on HEALTH” support community based HIV/AIDS efforts and promote education and awareness on the issue of HIV/AIDS within the company and our projects worldwide.

The workplace programmes shall provide information on HIV/AIDS and make access to condoms at the workplace possible.

Involvement and partnerships with other stakeholders and institutions are an integral part of our HIV/AIDS policy.
